Jordan Scores on his debut for the ROI

The former Tristar boys FC player, and former captain of the Northern Irish team, Jordan McEneff made the perfect debut for the Republic of Ireland side in a 2-1 win over Hungary at Ballinasloe AFC Stadium.

16-year-old Jordan McEneff pictured here on his debut for the Republic of Ireland U16’s, crowned his first game with the winning goal against Hungary earlier this week.  Jordan, who was unlucky not to convert in the first half when his 20-yard effort was hit straight at the goalkeeper, got the winning goal for Paul Osam’s side when he headed home from a corner kick.

McEneff looks set to have a big future, the youngster has recently signed for Arsenal’s academy, so we hope his fledgling career will be further nurtured at the famous London club, as it was with Tristar Boys’ FC.
